Komplett überarbeitete TGGs Debian Trixie KDE Plasma Edition.
Codename "Onyx" (dunkel, edel)

• Hybridiso für Biosmode/Uefimode
  
• Uefi-Mode: Liveboot jetzt mit "nomodeset möglich" (NVIDIA Probleme umgehen)
  
• TGG-Debian-Assistent (GUI) eingebaut.
  
• Eigenes Theme "TGG Dark basierend auf Breeze-Dark
  
• Icon-Theme Papirus-Dark
  
• Alle Skripts (/usr/local/bin) werden nun mit dem TGG-Debian-Assistent (in der GUI) aufgerufen.
  
• Zusätzliche Tools per Skript und in der GUI eingebaut.
  
• Alternativ sind die Skripts immer noch in der Konsole ausführbar, wenn ihr nicht in die GUI kommt.
  
• Firefox (non-ESR) ist vorinstalliert. Aus Datenschutzgründen ist uBlockOrigin mit dabei. Abgesehen davon, ist Firefox (von den privacy-Einstellungen her) strenger eingestellt.

Hallo,

Ich habe gerade die neue Version entdeckt ;-)) und mich erstmal gefreut das ich die mit meiner Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB ohne nomodeset einwandfrei booten konnte.
Auch das neue Hintergrundbild finde ich super. Der Installer ( Calamaris ) liegt ja als Verknüpfung wie gehabt auf dem Desktop, dann habe ich im Startmenü noch den Eintrag für TGG gefunden. Es gelingt mir aber nicht den zu starten, beim anklicken passiert genau nichts. Ich nehme an eigentlich sollte dann wie bei den anderen Versionen das Script starten ?
Ist das noch nicht verknüpft ? und was genau wird bzw. wurde da im Vergeich zu V1.3 geändert. Vielleicht kommt da noch ein extra Video ;-))

Vieleicht wäre es ja etwas für die Iso's.

Hallo Zusammen,

bisher habe ich Gnome verwendet, we es richtig einfach ist einen DLNA Server (Streaming) einzurichten.
Bei Gnome ist es Rygel, welches Media-Streaming erlaubt.
Wie mache ich das ganze unter KDE? Könnte mir jemand helfen?

Endlich bin ich dazu gekommen einen kleinen Vulkan Geschwindigkeitsvergleich online zu stellen. Getestet habe ich:

1x AMD GPU RX 7900XT
1x INTEL GPU Arc B580
2x NVIDIA GPUs RTX 4070 und RTX 3090

Basis-OS: TGG Debian Trixie V1.3 (XFCE)
Treiber NVIDIA von NVIDIA.COM (580.65.06)
Treiber AMD und INTEL: Opensource (sprich out-of-the-box)

Die Intel GPU hat mich ehrlich gesagt beeindruckt. 

Vom Preissegment her liegt sie ja ein ordentliches Stück unter AMD und vor allem NVIDIA. 

AMD zeigt in diesem einfachen Test, wo der Hammer hängt. (besser optimierter Treiber) Klar ist, dass man die Grafikkarten von den Generationen her nicht zu 100% vergleichen kann. Interessant finde ich es aber dennoch.

Keine Treiberinstallation (Intel VGA) nötig da Opensourcetreiber
