ich habe eben etwas über Extrepo gelesen, eine Möglichkeit externe Repositories einfach zu finden und einzubinden.
Vieleicht wäre es ja etwas für die Iso's.

Hallo Zusammen,

bisher habe ich Gnome verwendet, we es richtig einfach ist einen DLNA Server (Streaming) einzurichten.
Bei Gnome ist es Rygel, welches Media-Streaming erlaubt.
Wie mache ich das ganze unter KDE? Könnte mir jemand helfen?

Endlich bin ich dazu gekommen einen kleinen Vulkan Geschwindigkeitsvergleich online zu stellen. Getestet habe ich:

1x AMD GPU RX 7900XT
1x INTEL GPU Arc B580
2x NVIDIA GPUs RTX 4070 und RTX 3090

Basis-OS: TGG Debian Trixie V1.3 (XFCE)
Treiber NVIDIA von NVIDIA.COM (580.65.06)
Treiber AMD und INTEL: Opensource (sprich out-of-the-box)

Die Intel GPU hat mich ehrlich gesagt beeindruckt. 

Vom Preissegment her liegt sie ja ein ordentliches Stück unter AMD und vor allem NVIDIA. 

AMD zeigt in diesem einfachen Test, wo der Hammer hängt. (besser optimierter Treiber) Klar ist, dass man die Grafikkarten von den Generationen her nicht zu 100% vergleichen kann. Interessant finde ich es aber dennoch.

Keine Treiberinstallation (Intel VGA) nötig da Opensourcetreiber

Hallo,

ich habe mir nun die KDE Variate installiert (Hardware) und folgendes ist mir aufgefallen:

1.) Bei der Installation von LibreOffice über das Skript wird automatisch Firefox-ESR mit installiert.
2.) Wayland, bei mir sind im Ordner "/usr/share/wayland-session" folgende Dateien vorhanden: plasma.desktop und plasma.dektop.disabled
3.) Man hat nicht die Möglichkeit in Dolphin Datein als Administartor zu öffnen (vermutlich Debian).
4.) Die leidige Geschichte mit den Vorgaben von Debian beim Passwort.

So, dass war es für den Moment, bei weiteren Auffälligkeiten melde ich mich natürlich.

Ansonsten, klasse, was Du aus Debian gemacht hast, ist in einigen Belagen eine echte Erleichterung!

Hallo ich nutze dein Installations Script (nv_debian_upgrade_sudo) für LMDE. Ich fand das Script super! Wäre es möglich für Debian 13 ein aktuelles Bereitzustellen?

Wenn ihr redshift bzw. redshift-gtk installiert, dann werden die Programme zwar ordnungsgemäß ins System "eingespielt", der Start von redshift schlägt jedoch fehl.

Der Grund kann ein Fehlen der redshift.conf in ~/.config/ sein.
